Did any of you manage to run the RS-232? I tried similar to the following from Linux; but with correct setting of /dev/ttyUSB00, but no luck.

Am I missing any signals?

echo "next" ; echo "00000000: 5A7E8101008281a5" | xxd -r | /dev/ttyUSB00

No, RS-232 doesn't seem to work. I also tried two ATEN VS0801H with same result.

Tried both the ATEN RS-232 Control Tool (v1.0.062) and opening the port in PuTTY. Tried different baud rates. Tried on several PC´s and with USB/RS-232 dongle. Opened the switch and saw the RS-232 level shifter mounted. Tx signal from PC host is seen inside of level shifter (logic level). No serial output from the switch seen on scope, not at boot and not when receiving host data.

Someone got this working or someone seen the same problem and figured it out?
