Help with OTA installation?
Hi all, here's my issue. Its about two hundred degrees in my attic, so I want to spend as little time in there as possible. I am canceling Directv, bought a Channel Master OTA, and am looking to put it up on the sat dish mast, and use the wires that are already running through the attic to reach my tv's. I have three tv's running now, so I'm guessing there are splitter/switches in the attic 'cause I only see one wire coming off the dish. Should I plan on replacing the splitters with some off-the-shelf hardware? Don't really want to buy an amplifier but the bedroom tv is probably 70' from the mast. Guess I just need to try it and see. One last question, does anyone know if the connector up on the mast is an F-type connector? My D*tv installation is about 7 years old, I hope the wires aren't too old to do the job. Would hate to have to re-wire the whole damn house. Any additional comments/info would be appreciated, thanks!
