Finally getting out of my 2 year contract where my monthly payment has gone up nearly every single month. I'm going OTA, and I need some advice on what Antenna to choose.

It will be mounted outside probably 20-25 feet above the ground. I want to get as many channels as possible without going extreme and my budget is flexible. Location is Concord, NC.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

All but WTVI (PBS) is on UHF. WTVI is a second PBS station. You can get all networks with a cheap DB-2.

Or even much cheaper Eagle Aspen 2bay:

Remove your existing dish from its J-mount and reuse that mounting bracket & coax.
Aim the 2-bay to the SW.

As long as you are at it, you might want to let your Congressman and the FCC (maybe the White House, too) know that you watch over the air, and tell them not to end local TV.
It's on their agenda.

Clearstream 2 Complete with new VHF dipole could help you possibly receive WTVI, along with strong UHF performance for the other major Charlotte locals. Or an Antennacraft HBU22 sold at Radioshack. Although you do get PBS on UNCTV58, WTVI does offer alternative programming that you may want to receive. If not, any good UHF antenna should work fine. And looks like you should stand a good chance of getting Greensboro channels as well, although you may need to add a rotor and Winegard 269 preamp.

Unless you live in Mecklenburg Co..you probably could care less about WTVI and WUNG will meet your PBS needs just fine.
