For the past year I just had the coax from the cable company go right into my TV. Last week my digital channels started disappearing (2.1, 5.1, etc..) so I asked Comcast about it. They said I needed a STB for their digital migration. I picked one up from them, and now have the coax going into the STB, and HDMI going from the STB to my Denon AVR. There is an HDMI going from the Denon to my TV. I haven't been able to see anything when I set the Denon to use the proper input, and I've tried all of them (SAT/CAB, BD, DVD). If I bypass the Denon and go directly from the STB to my TV via HDMI, I am able to receive programming as expected.

Is there some HDCP issue with going through my AVR? Will I have to pick up a pair of component cables?
