I want to buy the Eagle Aspen rotor but I was told by solid source that I need to use an pre amp with the ROTR100. I also found out that there are two model numbers that Eagle makes but the specs seem to be the same. MY run from my attic to the tv is about 100ft. do I need the pre amp and how do I connect it from control to rotor?

There is only one model of rotor from Eagle Aspen but some sellers use the SKU instead of the model number. Same item.

Antennas Direct has the installation manual on their web site. See the 'Documents" tab on the rotor's page there.

You will either need to select a pre-amp that is compatible with their system (call Eagle Aspen/PBI directly) or use the 2-cable setup in the installation manual.
