This question is about the Sony KDL55HX850 screen reflectivity. Sony advertises this TV's screen as "OptiContrast" which is supposed to minimize unwanted light reflections. Can anyone comment on this? Is OptiContrast effective in reducing reflections, or is this just wishful thinking?
Several years ago I purchased a Samsung LN52A630 52” LCD TV which has a semi-matte screen, and I need to replace this TV. Any suggestions on possible replacements with matte or low-reflectivity screen will be appreciated (not necessarily Sony or Samsung).
(I see that this should have been posted in the Display Devices forum.)
