This new Samsung TV is the UN32EH4003 model sold at Target.

I love this TV. The picture is great, and, for the price, it has all the inputs and outputs that I could want.

The issue is that the edge lighting is uneven around the frame.
It is fairly bright in some areas, and protrudes a few inches onto the scteen, and is just at the edge in the other areas.
It is ohly noticeable when the screen is black, or in an extreemly dark sene.

Is this an issue that could get worse, so that I should return the TV for a replacement, or is this a normal thing to see in an LED tv?

Thanks,
Roger

Isn't it one of the detriments of edge lighting? I'd prefer not to have edge lighting, but I just purchaed an edge lit set because the price was so low. Every type of Tv has certain flaws with their display technology.

You will probably get more detailed responses if you post your question in the forum appropriate for your specific make and model.
