I'm using a Terk HDTVa antenna which is fairly direcitonal but wanted to try to build a DIY antenna to see if it would pick up some of the channels the Terk struggles with. Just wondering what the best antenna for DIY with good instructions would be for this as well as any known UHF options. I might use the amplifier included with the Terk because I found that makes a difference. The Terk is very directional though so I'd like to try out something different such as this one I found, it's a bow-tie antenna and looks promising. Any better options and how does it compare to the Hoverman? Also does anyone have a nice guide on how to build the Hoverman?

Please search for an existing topic before starting a new one.
Also note that without any location or TV fool information, we're not going to be able to help you much as so much of this differs by area.

Walking the fine line between jaw-dropping and a plain ol' yawn.
