Hello, finally canceled my cox and now i need an antenna. I have seen a few people in the are with the grey square antennas, not to sure what model they are.

Here is my tvfool info.

Thanks in advance. I would prefer to have an antenna much like the ones i see, small and square.

Those square antennas are pretty much "vanity" antennas, made to look nice, and focus more on form over function. Most of the time they work fine, but my only concern for using them where you live is that KSNV is on VHF 2. So you need a Lo/Hi VHF/UHF antenna.

Plus the majority of those square antennas are amplified, which I do not think you need. A more conventional antenna would probably yield better results.
Something simple like this from Radio Shack would probably be fine:
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11000532&znt_campaign=Category_CMS&znt_source=CAT&znt_medium=RSCOM&znt_content=CT2032189

You can certainly get one of the square antennas from Radio Shack and try it out. If it does not work, you can always return it.
Ask your neighbors how reception is and if they can get all the channels.

Whatever antenna you choose, point it towards the SE where the towers are.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have been looking at all sort of antennas now and getting abetter idea of what to look for. I would like to have a better looking antenna, although I want it o function well also.

What do you think about the channel master antennas in the "bay" type design such as the one bellow.

I have looked at those small square ones and see why you say they are vanity. Haha

The 8-bay is also a poor fit.

A small, all-channel antenna such as the Antennacraft AC9, the Antennas Direct V10, or the Winegard HD7000R would be suggested. You have to have that wide element on the back in order to be sure you pick up channel 2.

Yes & I want a car that get's over 100 MPG & goes from 0 to 60 in less than 4 seconds. Sometimes we can't have our cake & eat it too. (Not yet anyway)

But seriuosly, you'll need something a bit larger if you want to receive NBC programming. Project's made some excellent suggesions!!

Good luck!!
