I am needing to know what the IR frequency is on a charter remote. I have a customer that needs and wants an HDMI over Cat5/6 with IR extender built in. The kit I am using only has an IR Frequency Range of 38 kHz on a single band.
Please help......

Or a voltmeter with frequency counter? You can probably use an LED as a pickup device.
