I bought an open box LG soundbar that did not include the IR transmitter extension. LG doesn't have a part number, etc. So is there a generic something that I can use? Would it have to be LG?

Thanks for any help!

Users report that some IR Sensors (with 1/8-in Mini-jack and Cable) work with some, but not ALL equipments. A Dual-Frequency IR Sensor/Receiver may have better success, since the impulse response may be optimized for a variety of R/C Protocol data rates. Although a problem may be infrequent, be prepared to try different cables and return what doesn't work.
