Hello -

I have a SONY Bravia and am having difficulty getting audio when using HDMI output. I can get video just fine from my Laptop - just no audio. Any suggestions? Thank you

Are you sure that your laptop output is HDMI (and not DVI) ?? DVI has no audio.

Thanks -

It definitely has the hdmi output... does the DVI output look any different than the hdmi? Is there a way to tell if I have DVI vs. hdmi?

thanks

Try going into the control panel on the laptop and clicking SOUND. See what the setting is. Try changing it to HDMI.
