Trees on the highway no longer allow for a decent line of sight. Several techs have made the same comment that possibly the new satellites could be located in a different part of the sky thus giving me a line of sight again. Does anyone have any insight as to if this could be true?

BTW, I am in Suffolk, VA 23434, if that helps at all.

As far as I know DirecTV 14 which launches early next year is going to be located at 99°, the same relative place as Spaceway 2 and DirecTV 11 are currently. So no, the new location won't help you get line of sight.

Even if it was going to a different location it wouldn't help you because it will not be carrying the same channels that are on the current satellites, it will be used to offer new channels.
