I was given 4-Scientific Atlantic Explorer 3250HD boxes with tons of fancy cords.  The guy that owned them had a big home theater gaming deal of some sort.  I am a senior,& have no idea if/where/how to sell these, but am very certain I cannot hook them up to use myself!  If there's  a regular hd cable/ with box,  why do people get 4 of  these?   Aging rapidly yours!

If you're in the United States, those boxes are useless as they need to be activated, and if you're not actively leasing them, no one will activate them. They also belong to a cable company if they're US boxes, and are considered stolen property (no one in the US sells them.) So don't try to sell them (and again, no one would be able to use them anyway.)

You might try seeing if you can return them to the cable company. Just tell them you found them or something, no need to mention names.

If you're in Canada, it's a different story. Those can be sold retail.
