Smile Pioneer Elite PRO-FPJ1 (same as JVC RS-2)

SOLD!

Selling my Pioneer FPJ1. Throws an amazing picture still very much competitive with new projectors in the sub-2k price range. Upgraded to a JVC Rs-4810 (to gain 3D capability, something my wife really wanted) and honestly, the RS-4810 is better, but it's NOT night and day difference. The Pioneer has about 1300 hrs on the bulb (need to check exact hrs, the bulb is still plenty bright). Thinking the projector is worth at least ($1200), let's make that $1000, but if you disagree, shoot me an offer; not using this projector and I don't want it just to sit in my HT boxed up.

Comes with the Chief Mount SLB184 mounting plate (not the ceiling mount itself, but you need this place to use the RPA mount), manual, power cord, remote, original box (although the box is not in the best condition, so I would need to double box it, or even better, local pick up just east of Pittsburgh)

You can read all the spec's here:
http://www.projectorcentral.com/Pion...e_PRO-FPJ1.htm

It's sitting in a box in my home theater but it should be used by someone that loves movies as much as I do. Give an offer!

Received the projector today. Great condition as promised! I have it set up temporarily and it throws an awesome picture, even in nowhere near optimal conditions (i.e., blank white wall with no treatments). Hoping to get room set up this weekend!

Audiojan: No power cord in the box. I have one that will work, but if you happen to find it, please mail it to me.

All-in-all great experience. Thank you!

What on earth did I ever do with that power cord?! Could've swore I put it the box, I checked the HT on nothing in there. Are you ok with the power cord you got? If not I would need to get you one.

It should throw an amazing picture. I think I forgot to tell you it's fully calibrated. One thing that takes it one step up is a Darbee, but it's pretty darn good without it. :-)

I'm okay with the cord I have.

A Darbee is on the list But man does it look good as it is!
