Currently I have a Samsung 52' DLP connected to my HTPC via DVI for audio and via optical to my receiver for sound. Everything works great.

My PC has an optical output and 2 DVI outputs.

Now I want to also run audio and video from my HTPC to my new Samsung LCD LNT4071F. The problem is, there is no DVI cable input on the new LCD. Here is a picture of the back (remove hxx to htt)

To compound matters, the LCD is going above a fireplace and I really need to use the internal speaker since there is no place to put a center speaker.

One main question is, if the LCD tv has a HDMI cable plugged into it, will the tv accept any other type of audio input for the HDMI video source?

The tv does have a VGA input and a mini-plug audio input that I suppose would work but can VGA even do 1080p?

I understand that the picture will be the same on both tv's, that is ok because I don't plan to ever watch them both at the same time since they are on different floors.

I really don't know what to do and appreciate anyone's input.
