Who knows since you provide no details on what the sytem is or how good a deal it might be.
If the system is a never been installed or had the box opened and is more then a year old the 1/2 of its origional price or 1/2 the current price of a this years system with the same specs might be about right.

Sorry.

Here's a link to the eBay sell.

$590 seems a fare price to make an offer with, for the system in this brand new, unused, still in the box condition.

So, if not $590, what do you think the fare offer price might be?

Thanks.

You can get a lot better hardware in maybe not as slick a case for considerably less than that. You can probably buy a nicer standard pre-built and stuff it in a decent HTPC case for about the same price.

No... no it's not. Cant do HDMI, Can't do Vista, an old cpu that ran hot as hell and slow as molasses, Dual Ntsc tuners that will be useless (mostly) in 5 months and an old ATSC tuner that is almost certainly not QAM capable, not worth it at 399, unless you really want the case. What's especially bad is the same seller ha a HP A6567C CORE 2 QUAD 4GB 640GB going for 200 less.

Also... I have a 7600GS, and can tell you that it's useless for newer codecs, playback depending entirely on the speed of the cpu... you did notice it's a lower end P4, dual core or not, right?

Actually, HP z560 can do HDMI.

And HP z560 can do Vista, since HP Web site has support files you can download for Vista.

And HP z560 does come with HD tuners.

But yes, if i get z560 i'll do following upgrades,

a) upgrade processor to Intel Pentium 4 945 3.4GHz 4M 800MHz CPU OEM, from 3.0 GHz

b) replace video card to MSI 8500GT low profile

c) replace DVD drive to blu-ray/HD DVD combo unit from LG
