I am looking to buy a hdtv tuner card to add to my htpc. I'm running vista and was wondering which one would you suggest. I was looking at DViCO FusionHDTV7. Is this one any good ? Or maybe MyHD? Thanks in advance for help.

DViCO products are not real popular, but I expect this is a fine tuner. You might consider the Hauppage WinTV-HVR-2250 or the AverTV M780; the former has 2 digital tuners. Its reception is reasonable--not as good as that of my digital TV, but reasonable.

I'm happy with my AverTV Combo (m780). I'm waiting for a decent HDTV input to VMC so I can just use a hdtv cable box.

HTPC with SLI!

I just made the leap into HD recording myself and picked up the HDHomeRun. I have to say I love it so far. Extremely easy to set up. For me, it just works. I love that I can have access to it anywhere on my network. Not sure how the setup goes for VMC, but everything went very smoothly with SageTV.

You can check out the instructions for VMC here...

It's a little pricier than some of the options out there, but it has 2 digital tuners built in and is a bit more versatile than your standard tuner card.

Good luck with whatever you choose.
