Right now I have a 4 x 750 gigs in raid for my media. I ran out of space so I added a 1 TB Western Digital USB drive. Ive been happy with the USB drive becasue it can keep up with DVD streaming AND it powers down when not in use.

What I want to do is get some big 2 TB WD E-Sata drives. The thing is, I want them to behave like the USB drive that shuts down when not being used (unlike my Raid drives).

would a E-Sata drive do this like its USB counterpart?
