I have a LG GGC-H20L drive, 1.03 firmware, using windows 7. This drive played Blu-ray discs flawlessly as recent as last Friday, but today when I tried to play 2 different Blu-ray discs, the drive isn't reading the disc. I have AnyDVD HD, and even that doesn't recognize that there is a disc in the drive. Regular DVDs play fine.

Has this happened to anyone? I suspect the Blu laser crapped out on me, but wanted to post for suggestions before I ran out to get a replacement.

To add a little extra detail: when I put a Blu-ray disc in the drive, the blue light flashes for 3-4 seconds, and then nothing happens. Again, regular DVDs play without issue.

Can you try it in another PC? Just to narrow it down to the drive hardware itself.

Are these new discs or previously working BDs?
Hold it up to a light and see if the disc is transparent. I've had it happen to me with a couple of discs (same drive as yours).
Also, if the discs are from Netflix, check if there's a crack near the edge.
