My 4 year old ATI FireGL V3100 video card doesn't have driver support for Windows 7. I'm thinking about swapping it out because live TV stutters in WMC and I think it's probably a driver issue.

Newegg has on sale a Radeon HD 4350. Will this card fit and work? Old card is listed as PCle x16. Radeon HD 4350 is PCl Express 2.0 x16. Will this card fit in the slot? Will it work? Thanks for any help.

I don't see why it wouldn't be a suitable replacement, unless you need the video card to do some post-processing. You may want to go with an Ati 5xxx series card to get HD bistreaming.

Thanksj! I don't think I need bitstreaming - I'm just using el cheapo computer speakers.

Just to double check, the slot that accepts the old PCle x16 card is the same as the slot that accepts this PCl Express 2.0 x16 card?

Yes, PCIe 2.0 is backwards compatible with PCIe 1.0.
