Hi guys, Im building an htpc and need to choose a new graphics card but I need a little help. My current card is vga and my hdtv only supports 640x480 in vga (im having to use a vga to hdmi converter box right now). My tv supports 1360 x 768 in wxga, but how can i achieve this? In shopping for a video card, I've noticed that none of the cards list this as a feature. Would any video card with HDMI out give me XGA or WXGA? Thanks

Maybe I should rephrase... My TV supports only specific formats and resolutions. I'm aiming for XGA 1,024x768, WXGA 1,280x768, or WXGA 1,360x768. What do I need to look for when buying a video card that will give me a desired format and resolution? Thanks!

All those are available in desktop setting in CCC10.12. If that works on a tv - I'm not sure. Your 1280/768 is very close to 720 so it might be easily scalable.
