I figured I'd start this thread and peel it off from the other large Zacate thread since I ordered the hardware and it's on it's way to me. I will try to either here or in it's own thread document my HTPC upgrade. Perhaps this thread will just deal with the motherboard/CPU, or it will evolve into something else, who knows.

I expect the hardware to arrive in a few days, and I will probably work on it over the weekend. It will be replacing our current HTPC so transferring all of the recorded TV settings will be the part I look forward to the least.
