I have a youtube video I just posted a little while ago showing off the newest XBMC 10.1 with the use of my Wifi Android Official XBMC Remote App. At the moment it is just showing the functionality but I will try to make another video very soon that shows off XBMC. It is a wonderful front end video application and an awesome HTPC app. I have a full desktop but I do use it as HDMI from my HD 5830 GPU to my 42" 1080p LCD. I'll have a projector soon I hope and I'll also be building a Mini-ITX. Link is below for those interested. If you have any questions please just PM me or ask it here and I'll either try to include it in the video if it is not something I can explain.

Just loaded the app on my Nook Color a couple days ago. It's f*#$^ beautiful. Highly recommended.

I use it sometimes, it's pretty straightforward and works well.

Yeah. I love XBMC. It works really well as a front end media center program with all the codecs needed to play anything I threw at it. I never was a fan of subs (unless watching my anime of course) but my buddy convinced me to try out this feature. Well you can click a button on the top right of the screen while you're watching a video, it searches for a sub in about 2 secs, and then you click download and it takes about 2 secs and it starts playing the subs for that particular movie you are watching. It will download the .sst file directly to the directory you have the movie in or to another place you specify in the options menu.

Nice video! Really want to give this a go now.

How was the set-up process? I read some moans about it being a bit awkward when the app first launched.

Yeah I'm stoked on this feature also. I just found it a few days ago and made a post about it on the xbmc thread. On the transparency skin you press guide when your watching either a tv show or movie and its the on screen button in the far right if the screen that looks like a = symbol.

Setting it up is not to bad. If you'd like me to make a video then I will of the android app+XBMC setup. With the new version everything is pretty much filled in. All you need is your LOCAL ip... (i.e. 192.168.2.1...etc) and then go to network tab in XBMC and look at what the Port number is for the HTTP login and then whatever you put in for your username / PW. It is fairly straight fwd.
