When used as an input, yes.

What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.

OK help me out here. Tried reading through this thread but it's a lot.

I have JRiver 20. Used it to rip a Blu Ray. Jriver will not play the blu ray it ripped. It just locks the software. Does the same on this computer and my HTPC.

Am I doing something wrong?

OK, what is the relationship between JRiver and Pono?

I downloaded the Pono app and it's the JRiver skeleton. Next thing I know, everything is crossed and jrivers thinks it is installed twice.

My questions

1) what is the relationship between the two?

2) how do I most efficiently configure what? Do I only need one program not both?

An overview or tutorial video would be most helpful. If I need configuration help, that will be after I understand the relationship and what I am trying to achieve.

thanks

The "Pono Music World" app is a stripped-down (music only, no video or images) version of JRiver Media Center. Word from the interact forum (JRiver's support forums - google "Pono JRiver" an watch what happens...") is that full JRiver and PMW coexist peacefully. There are also hints that you can just use JRMC for your Pono player and bag using the PMW app altogether - but you should go to JRiver or Pono to get a definitive reading on that.
