Help for Jriver setup

I've just set up Jriver in my system a couple of days ago -I'm running it through an intel core i3 with 12 gig of Ram and a couple of hard drives I have and its going from a hdmi output on my computer to a marantz sr 5007 receiver to my tv and it seems to have a split in either the lower or upper part of the screen intermittently-almost like a line on the screen on films-normally more on intense multi frame action stuff whether its ripped dvds from my collection or playback from windows media centre tv-I run the tv and the computer at the same time in mirror display mode- im running windows 7 professional -any help would be appreciated

Is your TV set at 59 Hz instead of 60?

Hello

Im on MC20 and I use a win10 PC as server (shared media). I connect MC to the win 10 server and I end op with multiple copies of the same song even if there is only one copy on the disk. Is this a windows problem or does any body have a clue what's going on?

Looks like this:

Looks like the disc has been imported more than once. Do you have it set to import on disc insertion and, if so, have you inserted the disc more than once?

Thanks, but I'm pretty much certain that its not it. All my other albums is like that as well. 8, 9 or 10 "copies" of every song, but only one actual copy on disk. Ill admit I have a hard time with the sharing functions in windows. Seemingly multiple ways of sharing and all of it completely opaque as to whom I'm sharing with and what exactly is shared and what (if any) the differences is between different options.

Edit: Never mind. Turned off windows media sharing and turned on Jriver DLNA server. Much better. Does all I need and no funny business.

Hello,

Can I download and use JRiver Media Center on a Tablet instead of a PC? I have two 32GB Tablets, each running on the Windows and Android Operating System. All my music is ripped as a WAV file and is on a network storage.

I did a search and could not find the answer to my question. If it was already ask/posted I apologize

Thanks.

What is the EOS app? When I search for it on the Google play store, all I can see is an app for Canon EOS cameras.

Search on "Eos JRiver" or "Eos Lenworth" in the app store. It was written by Lenworth Rose. I have all three Android apps (Gizmo, JRemote, Eos) and use Eos the most.

Could you provide a link? It should also appear on the Google Play Store on my PC.

Using my tablet, I only get Gizmo after searching for "jriver eos app". The only other android app I've seen from jriver is JRemote.

Never mind... I was looking for something from jriver. The app you are referring to is from a third party - Lenworth Rose.

why does the cover art function sometimes not work? Or work inconsistently.

Is there anything I can do to insure when I place cover art from a file or URL it will take?

What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on? I bet you got little save pitiful, portable picnic players. Come with uncle and hear all proper! Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited.

I've used JRivers software since version 16 for music, BluRay concerts and BluRay movies. I'm currently using JRivers version 20. All of my music since downloading to my hardrive is JRivers ape files. I have been able to burn music to cds for my cars with no problems. I would like to download my music to a flash drive using JRivers burn feature. But, when I tried to burn using JRivers burn function it want a CD in the drive. I did sync to my flash drive and copied to the usb drive. But, the file are still ape format. And my car doesn't support it of course. Is there a usable function in JRivers software to easily convert to or burn to a usb drive?

Thank for any help.

You could set up the drive as a handheld and use Handheld Sync in the Action Window (lower left corner).

When you open the window, you can click on the icon in the upper left corner and choose options, and then the encoding that you want.

Hey guys,

I just purchased a MC 21 license this morning after playing with the trial version for a few weeks. My main intent is to use JRiver DSP functionality to drive a 4 way active stereo speaker setup.

I'll be purchasing a multi-channel DAC soon, and the MiniDSP U-DAC8 is in the lead right now. But, while I research that, it would be great if I could get a low pass subwoofer out and high pass my regular speakers. Right now I'm just using JRiver to play my FLAC files over optical from my motherboard to my Schiit Modi 2 Uber DAC. But I have another decent DAC that will accept optical or USB.

So is it even possible to create two high pass outputs and send them to one digital out and two low pass going to a different digital out? I'm just looking for basic IIR filters now even though I want to try FIR later.

I do understand that there may be clock sync issues with two completely separate DACs. The sync issue is actually something I'm interested in hearing but mostly I want to start learning more about using the DSP while I decide what new hardware to buy.

Sending the high pass to a single DAC while routing the low pass through the analog outputs on my motherboard would be fine with me as well.

If it is possible to do this, would someone please help me get started? I don't mind reading and learning but I don't even know what to search for right now when it comes to routing channel output.

Thanks a bunch for any help!

-Chris

Anyone know of a way to decrease the load time of the background fan art? When you scroll from one movie to the next there is an almost 2 second lag time for the fan art to change.

Thanks to madshi and nevcairiel (Hendrik on the JRiver forum), playback of 3D Blu-ray and MKV files (made from source BD), is working now. You can read about it here:
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/inde...topic=103931.0

Today was the first public release so you can expect a few problems. But it's working.

Congratulations to the two great developers!

I also started a general thread on this here:

I'm so happy about this.

I've been using the LAV, MadVR decoders for 3D from JRiver for a while now and it's always worked better for me then it tended to do for others during it's development... But seeing it as part of the package now makes me so happy.

I can't really even test the latest version as I've torn my HT up to make it larger for more seats but that should be done in a week or two.

And,... I'll still be so happy about this then.

Just started using JRiver with my Amazon Echo. Pretty slick interface and usually faster than searching through the file hierarchy to find a song sometimes. Just need to get used to the "speak."
