I have my audio going out to my stereo through the 3.5mm jack on the MB. The live TV audio from WMC is always playing. How do I turn if off if I want listen to Pandora? I don't want to shut down WMC in case there is a recording coming up.
Thanks,
Ted

Press stop on the remote. WMC will record even if you close down the user interface.

HTH,

Nick.

You can also control the audio for individual applications in the volume mixer in Windows. You could mute WMC's volume.

Yah there should be no video displayed when recording. If you don't want to close WMC for whatever reason just push stop to end live tv. But the WMC interface being open has nothing to do with a recording, (as stated above).

Or just close Media Center completely when not watching tv. Any recordings will still record in the background, which you can tell because there will be a small red button in the taskbar when media center is recording in the background.
