Few issues im having when hooked up via HDMI.... I have an EVGA 560TI 448 Core classified GFX card

When the computer sleeps and then wakes up in 720P (for viewing purposes, larger text) I get picture back but no sound. I need to restart my PC to get my sound back.

When it sleeps and then wakes up in 1080P (for game playing) i get nothing.... unplugging the hdmi cable and plugging it back in will restore picture, but still no sound until i restart.

****Never had these issues using onboard chipset and motherboard HDMI slot (i5-2500k)****

Here are a couple things I came across that might help in theory....

Different drivers possibly?

Powered HDMI switch (so it keeps a ''connection'' even though my PC is asleep)
