Hi,
I have an Intel DH67CF board, with CIR header. It has been working without any issues for quite some time now, but after a re-install, and harddrive replacement, I've been having some issues.

When the HTPC is sleeping the remote wakes it up just fine, BUT once it is back in windows, the reciever no longer works.
No remote commands is accepted, by the CIR. Other devices work fine, so the remote can't be the problem.
It also wakes up fine, so it works while the computer is sleeping.

A reboot of the htpc, will get it to work again.

Any ideas what could be doing this, and how I can fix it?

Are all of your drivers up to date? Did you install the CIR drivers? Are there any hardware conflicts in the device manager?

The CIR header will work without Windows, since it's a BIOS option. When it doesn't work inside Windows, the usual culprit is a missing/bad driver.

Yea, I installed the latest nuvotel driver, from Intel's website.
There are no hardware conflicts.

I have no doubt, that it is windows that messes it up, since it wakes up fine, and then stops working, once windows is up again.

It doesn't fail everytime, but almost. I'd say 9/10 wake ups, it stops working, once windows is fully loaded.

Is it possible to view any log files somewhere, that might catch this?
To be honest, I haven't checked the event viewer, so I guess I should start there.

Let me know if you get this resolved. I have a DH61AG which exhibits the same problems. My older DG45FC never had such problems.
