I want to be able to back up my BD/DVD to my new HTPC and use it as my media server for the time being. Right now I have an XBOX 360 and am looking to get another extender possibly.

I am looking for a software suite that can take a dvd or BD and back it up to my HTPC in a 1080p with 5.1 format that can stream to my xbox. I know with xbox right now it can only be done with WMV. Currently I am using MakeMKV which is super easy and simple. I love it. But...it obviously doesn't stream to an xbox.

Does anyone have some good recommendations for an all inclusive software?

Right now I am looking at dvdfab rippers

Never mind, I got a solution. It's amazing how you can always do it on your own once you post in a forum.

keep the 360 on the main TV and get some a WD live or Boxee so it doesn't matter how I decide to rip them. So really I can stick with MakeMKV and Handbrake if I want.

That's one solution I guess.

I have a Patriot Box Office that's been hacked with Medi8tor firmware to playback HD Audio for that. I might let it go as it isn't being used right now.
