Cost seems to benefit Multi TB server in the long run.

However
1. Are there any devices (wdlive , micca ?) that would stream a BD backup and retain menus and audio ?

2. Would there be ANY pq drop on a streaming option ?

1. Yes. The Dune players support full BD menus. I don't know about the rest, but I know the WD Live series do not support BD menus at all.

2. No. The only quality drop would be from a low quality rip, which doesn't happen if you rip the entire disc to BDMV folder structure or ISO.

There's actually a separate forum for media servers and content streamers here. Anyways, there are a few others that play back menus like the Popcorn Hour A-300, but the Dunes are widely regarded as the most reliable.

There will be no loss in quality, although you absolutely need to use wired network connections.

hmmm Going to have to look into non wireless option. A quick look made me realize the bandwidth needed.

Its a shame BD50 are still so pricy per disc. I may go unelegant and just run an HDMI from pc to tv when needed then tuck away when not in use.
