I have a htpc windows 7 pc with a secondary multi touch 21 screen. I also have an Onkyo 709 network receiver. I would like to control my receivers source, net radio, volume on my secondary touch screen display using a nice interface-either thru ethernet or rs232 ike XBMC but with out special global cache or cqc,or basically a whole house automation software as that get to complicated. I would like to customize the interface my way, perhaps a weather, time, news theme. What program exists to do something like this ?

It looks like the Onkyo supports DLNA.

If it is a controllable renderer, you need software that is a DLNA Server and software that can act as a DLNA Controller.
