I've used the asrock h67m-itx in an antec isk-310 150 case and it worked fine. I'm using an i3-2100 and the ram I'm using is G Skill - part number F3-12800CL9-2GBXL 2x2gb dimms.. 1600mhz max. cpu-z says motherboard chipset intel sandy bridge rev 09 - southbridge h67 rev b3 is that makes a difference

Gear list: Main setup - Kef Q900, Svs sb12-nsd subwoofer, onkyo 609 receiver, epson 8350 projector, elitescreens sable 92" screen, mac mini htpc
bedroom setup: PSB Image B5, maverick tubemagic a1 amplifier, hifimediy sabre9023 dac, ZMF Fostex T50RP modded headphones

Anyone having any other problems with these boards? My LAN port drops out and will not come back unless I reboot. Checked all power setting and WOL setting. Drops are totally random.

This motherboard is the bane of my existence. After I got around the power issues I decided to install Win7 on it. Every VGA driver I tried: the three on the CD, the latest on the ASRock site and the latest Intel driver resulted in a BSOD after the "Starting Windows" display and then I had to go to System Recovery and roll back the driver to get it to boot again. Same components on the ASUS P8H61-I no issues. Windows 8 CP no issues. Win8CP is not a solution for this build since it's not production.

I am so glad I bought this at Amazon because it's on its way back. Good riddance.

I have the ASRock H67M-ITX and do not have any problems with it - not that that comment helps you any. I make sure to buy only the memory listed on the ASRock (the MB manufacturer's) approved menory list. They had dozens of choices and NewEgg carried almost all of them.

i didn't read whether or not you did this - this comment is in general and directed at anyone buying a new MB.

Add me to the list of unhappy customers. Just put the rig together, no post, no beeps, not even with no ram installed. Frustrating:mad:

Yah the model they sent me as a replacement doesn't seem to be working either. Same scenario. No beeps and no display. Fans and HDD just spin, spin spin!

I too, had the same problem.

I had an i3-2100 running in an ASRock h67m-itx.

I swapped out my i3-2100 with a g530, all the fans would spin, but no video.

I tested the g530 in an ECS h61 mobo, and it worked fine, so i knew it wasn't the mobo (also that ram was 1600)

I put the i3-2100 back in the asrock, updated the bios from the asrock website using the .exe file they had. let it reboot. shut it down. put back in the g530, and boom, problem solved.

good luck fellas.

I think a bios update fixes the issue. The problem is you need a second compatible CPU like you had to be able to do this which almost no one has.

I brought this up personally to ASRock and told them they are losing business over this issue.

I am emailing their tech support again, but I really wonder what this back and forth will accomplish. Have you had success replacing the motherboard with a different one from their company? My return warranty with New Egg has expired so I have to stick with the ASRock brand. I need the onboard graphics the H67 and Z68 offers. I'd like the optical out so I don't think dropping to the H61 would be an option.

Hello everyone, it seems I too am having identical non-boot issue...no noises, fans just spin n' spin. Very sad right now :-(

H67M-ITX
i5-3570K ivy bridge
G.SKILL 8GB Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL (specifically chosen because it's on the compatible list)

I've tried everything posted in every post above. Various video ports, CMOS, RAM Dimm variations, no visible board damage or pin damage, PSU working well.....no luck. My question now is, should I just not waste my time and return to Newegg and get a different board? I'm looking at the BIOSTAR TH61 ITX.

Any/all help is HUGELY appreciated. Thank you all, and sorry we're all in this boat.

Instead went with a Asus and g620 and no issues.

I haven't built a non-Asus system for at least 8 years. There must be a reason. Oh, no problems with black screen booting, either...
