I use the native Movie Library for movies, but use the TV Library plugin by Jack Luminous for TV Shows (http://experts.windows.com/frms/wind.../t/100775.aspx).

I hear what your saying about this. +1 agree.
You can keep the programs and cache on SSD while the actual data and media is still on the HDD. It's a solid plan for a quick working HTPC. SSD based HTPC do indeed browse media better.
