Every once in awhile WMC has starting to slow down and get choppy like Im running out of resources or rendering something in the background, both the UI goes into slow motion and the video starts skipping frames, sound is unaffected. Usually closing WMC and then opening it back up fixes it unless I have a scheduled recording going on.

My computer itself is fine, task manager doesnt report anything out of the ordinary, most processes are 0% cpu.

Has this happened to anyone else? Know what the problem is? Could it be video card issues? I want to say it only does it on hot days, it never did this during the winter, and sometimes the video card will get so hot that it will "purple screen" and freeze (after playing games).

Im using shark007 codecs, its a gaming PC so theres plenty of power, nothing else in the computer gets bogged down.
