I want to be able to tell my computer to play my screen saver with a shortcut or a hotkey or something quick. Reason being my wife and kids love the slideshow of pictures but I have issues with it coming on during movies. I don't want to do away with the "giant digital picture frame but it comes on when I don't want it to. Any suggestions?

I wonder if this Auto Hot Key would meet your needs?

What OS and video player are you using? The screen saver shouldn't come on during playback.

I have a shortcut to my screensaver pinned in the start menu. 2 clicks & it's running on demand.
