I have a ceton tuner. Layely I have been getting a lot of dupes recorded. I'm talking about shows I have set to only record new episodes.
Like Deadliest Catch, the same episode will air like three times and it will record it 2 or 3 times. It annoys me because it takes up a tuner.

Anyone else have this problem. Another annoying thing is when there is no title for the show in the guide info. It records it. So this weekend
a show I have set to only "new" had a 16 hour marathon so I got all of them. I assume this happens because if it doesn't know if it's new or not it just records.
I can deal with that but the first problem has been bugging me. Just to be sure I checked that I didn't some add a show twice to be recorded. (Which
I don't think is possible but had to make sure)

I have the same issue with Deadliest Catch on FIOS. My suspicion is that they don't have the flags set properly so the guide doesn't indicate which one is new and which are reruns. I set the series to record only at 9 pm EST on Tuesday when a new episode airs and don't get any dupes that way.
