My email said they wanted to honor it, but they put the product up too soon by mistake and actually do not have any to sell. They pressed Intel to send them a bunch, but Intel said they cannot. BH canceled the orders due to the huge length of time we would have to wait. I trust them, having dealt with them a lot in the past and knowing just how inflexable Intel can be.

In reality neither statements are 100% correct.

Reduction to absurdity, a well established debate tactic (but one which those who it is used against hate). smile.gif

Facts:
I had one OCZ Vertex2 100GB, it died.
I have one Crucial RealSSD C300 256GB, and one Crucial m4 128GB, and both work just fine.

Anyone is free to conclude from this what the hell they want. tongue.gif

And I have the opposite story. Except my failure was with the current M4 and not a Vertex2 100GB which has not been MFG in years and one of the first SSD made (growing pains ?)

In contrast also- I have a first generation Vertex2 120GB still running strong.

I think no intelligent conclusion can be made from any of these except to each their own.
