Newbie to this section - maybe I'm in the wrong section.

I have a Samsung Tablet that I won in a drawing. Works fine. Uses the Android operating system.

What I would like to do is output video I am streaming from the tablet to a large flat screen display. There is no output, except audio on this tablet. Is there a tablet that does have a video out put? Need an Android OS because want to stream Xfinity and Netflix videos - which can be done on Android.

I'm sure there are plenty of others, but for sure my Asus transformer prime has HDMI out. It's via a micro or mini HDMI connector cable to normal HDMI.

Not used it myself as I use the tablet to remote control a wmc machine...

I have been using my Asus Transformer tablet to do this for a while, usually streaming movies from the tablet to a tv, via HDMI

The ASUS transformer tablets, at least the Prime(TF200) andInfinity (TF700) have the microHDMI port. It's a bit old school.

You can also look for tablets that may have HML (high definition media link). It's just part of the USB port and you just get a cable. If the device has HML for the HMDI ports, it will display and charge your device. If the device isn't, you can buy an adapter. You just need to use your charger with the adapter to get to charge the device; I don't know if it's need to do the mirroring. I know a few of the Samsung devices have HML.

Can you be more specific on the model number? It has a mini-us port, right? Sometimes that doubles as an HDMI out. It does on my Samsung Galaxy nexus anyway. I just had to get an mhl adapter.
