I have been trying for a solid week now to get my computer to output 23.976 when playing mkv files. Even creating a custom resolution with the correct timings i cannot seem to get the display readout in madvr to reach any higher than 23.931fps. I believe this is the cause of a noticeable offset with audio that i cant seem to get right even with reclock. Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

System:
i7 950
6GB ram
nvidia gtx460

Do you really need 23.976? Have you tried leaving the refresh rate at 60Hz? Can you really see a difference? I'd start there.

Yes with my tv there is a clear difference in quality using 24p. All motion is much smoother than on 60
