What Micro-ATX board with DisplayPort, mSATA and good onboard sound could you recommend me, please?
Anything really good from ASUS?
OP, take a look at these two intel (foxconn) boards and see if they will work with the hdplex heatpipe cooler, both have msata and displayport.
A lot of people overlook the Q series, but they are effectively the same as Z series with extra corporate/enterprise features.
Low profile ITX (also comes with standard backplate)
Uses a common laptop 19V power brick and cuts down on clutter inside a case. This can save you some of the hassle of dealing with different pico-psu configurations.
Has a lot of interesting connectors on the board, most of which you'll never use. I feel compelled to plug this board, not sure why.
Micro ATX, otherwise pretty standard layout.
You shouldn't need another USB3 card, Q/Z77 have 4 ports built in and quite frankly root chipset ports always seem to be less glitchy than most 3rd party add-on cards.
