I built my HTPC 3-4 years ago. I had a Hauppauge 2250 and it worked fine. However I canceled my cable, and took the card out of my computer and put it away. Now I have cable again and am trying to get it to work. I plugged it back in, and everything plugged in properly, but it is not working. No links to software, drivers, manuals or anything work on the Hauppauge website. I do not have the CD anymore. I boot up WMC and it cannot do it's scan. I am guessing it is a software or driver issue. What can I do?

The link to the driver on the Hauppauge Support Page doesn't work for me either.

I have the latest driver (22xx_7.9.1.29297.exe). I've placed a copy in my Dropbox. If you PM me, I'll send you the public url so you can download it.

I have to say this...

I assume no responsibility for anything that might happen as a result of your use of the driver.

From the Hauppauge Support Page...

Leave your WinTV-HVR-2250 plugged into your PC. Follow the following steps:
Download the WinTV-HVR-2250 driver update: 22xx_7.9.1.29297.exe
The file is self extracting just click to install.
This will install the WinTV-HVR-2250 base driver.
At the completion of the driver install, you should see a message which says Drivers have been updated successfully.

Name: 22xx_7.9.1.29297.exe
Size: 8 MB
Updated: 10/24/2011

Hauppauge put a note that parts of their website are down due to Sandy. They claimed some drivers are one the overseas site, but I couldn't find my U.S. product driver there. You'll just have to be patient, or see if someone could upload the driver.
