What your suggest is ridiculous but I understand how emotion can cause an overly aggressive reaction. I feel the same way about Crucial drives.
I think your wrong and the experience your suggesting will never happen.
You know the vertex 3 has been out over a year and sold very well right ?
Almost all SSDs are reliable, including OCZ and its only a very small percentage of RMA or failures for any brand.
OCZ has half the failure rate as most mechanical hard drive makers like WD. All SSDs do.
I'll end with that because every time I post something negative about Crucial SSDs being slower, more expensive and overrated I get a 200 page reply.
I don't think anyone needs that here.
On a side note- I do favor SSDs that are not brand new to market and have bugs worked out. Vertex3 and Samsung 830 would be two I'd look at now if a deal came up.
