Hey guys,

I use WMC with Media Browser and have a couple of files that appear to have default audio tracks in foreign languages. Is there anyway I can switch between these audio tracks whilst watching, or at least changing the default language quickly on the file (without remuxing etc).

Thanks.

It's probably possible using mkvmerge GUI.

Thanks, would this affect the quality of the video?

I did find this article: http://community.mediabrowser.tv/permalinks/1318/managing-subtitles-for-non-english-parts-in-media

That article explains how to do it.

No need to remux if the preferred audio stream has already been ripped and is included in the mkv. Get MKVToolnix, open mkvmerge, then go to file\header header editor. load your file into the header editor, then change the default options in the streams and remember to save. No remux and no damage to quality/ Done.

you can also set an audio language preference in your mkv splitter.
