Media Browser isn't showing my movies after re-installing the OS on my media server. It can see my music however. My HTPC can see my media files and their mapped drives. I refreshed the Media Browser library without success. Anyone have any ideas why Media Browser can't see my movies?

One of the HDs on my Media Server died on Christmas and I had to replace the drive, reinstall the OS, and reload my media files from backup. Since then, WMC can find and play my files, but Media Browser cannot. Anyone have any ideas why? Thanks.

Have you re-linked the library locations in MediaBrowser Configurator?

Try using the network path rather than mapped drive letters as it is more reliable.

Thank you for your response. I refreshed the library through Media Browser settings (it displays as a wrench). I am unaware how to re-link library's within Media Browser. I directed WMC to the library's through its settings. I directed it to mapped network drives because I was don't think WMC can be go directly to network drives.

Media Browser still can't find my movie library. Please educate me, or tell me to where I can be educated if: 1) you can direct Media Browser to libraries and/or 2) WMC can be directed to network drives.

You need to use the MediaBrowser Configurator program to link your libraries to MediaBrowser.

Thank you Sammy2. I had forgotten about Media Browser Configurator. I launched it and directed it to my movies. Its good to have everything working again.
