Happy holidays everyone. Just downloaded media browser 2.6.2 and loaded on my HTPC upgraded to windows 8. I'll be playing around with it for the rest of the night to see how it does. For now, all looks good. You can get the upgrade from The Media Browser website under downloads. If this has already been posted I apologize for the repost. I did do a search first.

I just tried to download it but I got a pop up saying I need .Net framework 3.5. I thought Win 8 came with .NET 4.0???

Edit: never mind, figured it out

Completed my installation and testing and everything works just like it did on Windows 7. I even found a way to bypass the Win 8 Metro (Start) window and boot directly into media center. You can use the task scheduler to boot directly into the desktop and then into media center at startup. No third party software needed. This courtesy of an article I read on PCWorld. wink.gif
