Can anyone tell me the last version/patch of PowerDVD 12 Ultra before they added Cinavia support? I bought PowerDVD 12 retail and and I want to know the latest patch I can upgrade to before I encounter Cinavia.

I ran into this the first time last night with "To Rome With Love." About 22 minutes in the audio mutes and an explanatory message pops up. It was a disc from Netflix!

Can anyone point me to a quick fix?

If you are playing the Netflix disc in your drive (not ripping first) all should be fine, but you will have to disable any software like AnyDVD (not uninstall, just temporarily disable). AnyDVD will remove protection from the disc in real time and that will make PDVD think you are playing a copy.

Thanks, that must be the problem. Odd it would show up 22 minutes in.

That's just the way Cinavia works. Not sure why, but there it is!

Nah. They delay the action to make the trigger signal harder to find.

I'm using the other product (I can't remember the name) and disabling it worked. Going back and trying it again, that other product does give a warning message that Cinavia is present when it starts the disc, but the warning disappears fairly quickly, so you have to sit and watch while it loads.
