Just ordered all my parts to build my first htpc, parts should arrive next week.

Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3H MB
Intel i3-3225 cpu
corsair vengeance 4gb ram
kingston 60gb SSD
WD 2tb HD
asus blu ray drive
antec 400w psu
nmedia 1080p case

looking forward to building this.

I plan on running xbmc on it, windows 7

Now my question is, for playing blu ray movies, I've read I need another program to run them. Is there any that integrates with xbmc?

What does everyone recommend?

limitations of system?

If you want to Purchase a 3rd party s/w program, I would recommend that you download a Free Trial of some of the more popular programs to see which you like best.

I purchased PowerDVD11 Ultra a while back on a shell-Shocker at NewEgg ($30 or $40 cant remember).

PowerDVD didn't seem to like my AMD Setup though on my office computer (Phenom II - 720B w/790XT chipset), but works great on my Sandy Bridge w/H77 HTPC.

I would also suggest looking into Assassin's HTPC guide. $25 was well worth the money for setting up software, and integrating.
