I have an HP s5-1400t slimline pc currently being used as my htpc. I have no complaints so far and was thinking about swapping out the cd/dvd for a bluray drive. I was wondering if there are any recommendations out there. And I was also wondering if the eject button on the computer would still work after the switch. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about that specific model, but I have done this with two laptops. There are usually only a few "standard" slim drive types, just make sure you get the correct one.

Although I would recommend a cheaper option: buy an external BD drive, or buy a 5.25 internal drive and an external enclosure.

+1. Also quicker and a lot more reliable.

ok thanks for the info. I have an external blu ray, but was trying to consolidate into one thing for my wife. Keeps the switching of inputs to zero. Thanks.
