I am looking for an alternative to preclear (unraid) for Windows. Do the extended tests included in tools from OEMs like Data Lifeguard Diagnostics and Seatools for example, stress the drives enough to identify good drives from bad? AFAIK, those tools will only good for finding bad sectors, but not stressing the drives like preclear. Any suggestions?
